Loading and unloading for rail vehicles

The scope may include unloading supplied materials, transport to the vehicle, movement through approved access points, positioning at defined locations and later removal to an agreed handover zone. Loading and unloading personnel form part of a Trimova-coordinated work package rather than open-ended labour supply. Counting, sorting and labelling can be included where specified.

Rail testing programmes may require materials or test weights to be loaded and removed in line with a changing test sequence. Trimova can combine loading support, material handling and vehicle ballasting in one coordinated assignment.

Routes, floor protection, staging areas and permitted handling aids are agreed before work begins. Technical approvals, load calculations, vehicle movements and testing decisions remain with the responsible client organisations.

Please provide the location, vehicle type, dates, time window, material type, quantities, individual and total weights, dimensions, access route, available aids and site safety rules. Photographs, weight lists and load plans help us assess the assignment.

Project-based deployment is available in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Travel, accommodation, equipment and team size are planned around the defined scope and responsible on-site contact.

Does Trimova perform technical vehicle testing?

No. We perform physical loading, unloading and handling. Measurement, approval and certification remain with the manufacturer, operator or testing organisation.

Can loading be combined with ballasting?

Yes. Loading, positioning, redistribution and unloading of test weights can be planned as one defined work package when the client supplies the load plan.
